Senior Videographer/Photographer – SIDS 2026

About the role

The Senior Videographer/Photographer will support the FAO Subregional Office for the Pacific in documenting the impact of regional initiatives and providing comprehensive media coverage for the 2026 Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Solutions Forum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed production work‑plans, shot lists, interview schedules and delivery timelines.
• Conceptualize, script and produce 3‑4 minute video products aligned with FAO’s Four Betters framework.
• Create promotional trailers, recap videos, anniversary/legacy media and short‑form social‑media clips.
• Conduct archival research, draft scripts, coordinate narration, select music and manage permissions.
• Execute full post‑production editing, including colour correction and sound mixing.
• Capture high‑quality field stories, interviews, and VIP/leadership photography.
• Collaborate closely with the Office of Communications and regional communications specialists for technical review and clearance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in videography and photography for development or international organisations.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple communication focal points.
• Strong storytelling aptitude and sensitivity to cultural and consent requirements.
• Flexibility to travel across Pacific Island Countries for field filming.
