Mission Home Attendant – Apia West, Samoa

About the role

The Mission Home Attendant supports the daily operation of the mission home in Apia West, Samoa. Working under the facility manager and the mission president’s wife, the role ensures the home is clean, meals are prepared, and residents receive basic care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning kitchens, floors, restrooms, dusting, changing linens, and waste removal.
• Assist with meal preparation for visitors, meetings, and special occasions under direction.
• Provide child‑care assistance when requested.
• Help with laundry duties.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the mission president or his wife.

Required profile

• Entry‑level position; domestic care experience preferred.
• Willingness to serve priesthood leaders and follow instructions.
• Must be a worthy member of the Church with a temple recommend.

Required skills

• Basic housekeeping abilities (cleaning, linen change, waste management).
• Fundamental cooking skills for simple meals.
• Child‑care and laundry competence.
