About the role

The Church College Pesega is seeking a Samoan Teacher to help students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ while mastering Samoan language and cultural studies. This full‑time position involves delivering both theoretical and practical instruction in a faith‑based educational setting.

Key responsibilities

• Teach theoretical and practical Samoan subjects according to the school curriculum.
• Understand and apply the curriculum effectively, exercising sound judgment in lesson planning.
• Track grades and assess student progress using student‑management programs.

Required profile

• A teaching certificate is an advantage; a bachelor’s degree in education, Samoan Studies or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Samoan subject matter and proficiency in both Samoan and English (verbal and written).
• Ability to motivate students, maintain classroom discipline, and implement remediation strategies.
• Organized, hard‑working, with basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Maintain temple worthiness standards, possess legal right to work in Samoa, and provide a police clearance.
