On-Call Substitute Teacher – Vaiola Primary School

About the role

This temporary, on‑call position supports youth at Vaiola Primary School by teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The role involves lesson preparation, presentation, and fostering spiritual growth among students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver gospel‑focused lessons to youth classes.
• Partner with a program administrator to ensure effective teaching and student engagement.
• Participate in regular training and incorporate feedback from surveys and observations.
• Assist students in developing their testimony and understanding of the gospel.

Required profile

• High school diploma with a demonstrated ability to teach and motivate youth.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative attitude.
• Basic understanding of supporting students with various disabilities.
• Alignment with Church Board of Education policies and S&I conditions of employment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
