Samoan Teacher – Pesega Middle School

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Samoan Teacher for Pesega Middle School. The role focuses on delivering both theoretical and practical instruction to middle‑school students, supporting their spiritual and academic growth within the Church school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in Samoan language and other subjects.
• Assess student progress, track grades, and use student‑management programs to record outcomes.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies and provide remediation and response‑to‑intervention support.
• Maintain temple worthiness standards and comply with school policies, including police clearance and legal work eligibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education (middle‑school level) or related field; teaching certificate is a plus.
• Proficiency in Samoan language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to motivate students and manage a classroom effectively.
• Organized, hard‑working, and able to work legally in Samoa.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including use of student management software.
