About the role

The Church College in Pesega seeks a dedicated Samoan Teacher to guide students in both spiritual and academic growth. The role focuses on deepening students' conversion to Jesus Christ while delivering a robust primary‑level curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in Samoan language and related subjects.
• Plan, prepare, and execute lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
• Track grades, assess student progress, and maintain records using student‑management software.
• Apply effective classroom management strategies and provide remediation as needed.
• Uphold temple worthiness standards and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.

Required profile

• Teaching certificate (advantageous) and a bachelor’s degree in education (Primary Level) or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Samoan subject matter and proficiency in both Samoan and English (verbal and written).
• Ability to motivate students, stay organized, and work hard.
• Legal right to work in Samoa and a clear police clearance.
