Science Teacher (Chemistry) – Samoa

About the role

The Church College Vaiola seeks a Science Teacher to help students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and prepare for future educational and career endeavors. The role focuses on delivering both theoretical and practical science instruction, with an emphasis on chemistry, within a faith‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical science lessons, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.
• Track grades and assess student progress using student management programs.
• Apply sound judgment in curriculum delivery and classroom management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field (preferred) and a teaching certificate (advantageous).
• Strong English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to motivate students, maintain temple worthiness standards, and possess a police report.
• Legal authorization to work in Samoa.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Experience using student management software for grading and progress tracking.
