Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Area Operations and Maintenance Division of the Meetinghouse Facilities Department is seeking a permanent, full‑time Facilities Maintenance Technician to be based in Pesega. You will maintain and repair church facilities across multiple skilled trades.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment and facility systems.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and general maintenance.
• Conduct inspections, manage work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure a safe work environment and comply with health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Travel between sites and operate a company vehicle as needed.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of related experience or progress toward a relevant post‑secondary degree or certification.
• Strong working knowledge in three or more skilled areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical or machine servicing.
• Ability to read and follow safety policies, technical manuals and instructions.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and competent use of computers, tablets and MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s licence, physically fit to lift up to 23 kg and work at heights.
