On-call Sub Food Service Lead (Cook)

About the role

The Sub Food Service Lead (Cook) provides on‑call support in preparing nutritious, tasty meals for dormitory students at Church College Vaiola. Working closely with the senior Food Service Lead, the role ensures safe, hygienic food preparation and a clean kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious and tasty meals for dormitory students.
• Assist the senior Food Service Lead in safe and hygienic food preparation.
• Maintain, clean and sanitize the kitchen and dining areas.
• Support food preparation for special school functions and visitors.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to cook a wide variety of meals on a medium to large scale.
• Proficiency in English and Samoan (verbal and written).
• Experience leading and instructing groups of students.
• Highly organized with strong cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Legal authorization to work in Samoa.
