Civil Engineer / Project Manager

About the role

Kramer Asia Pacific is looking for a full‑time Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects from our Samoa office. You will be responsible for planning, technical coordination, design review, delivery oversight and commercial management, ensuring projects meet specifications, quality, safety and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee civil infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, technical reports and construction documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Assess construction methods, materials, quality standards and project risks for civil works.
• Monitor project scope, cost, variations, schedules and compliance obligations.
• Prepare technical and project reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams regarding engineering solutions and delivery outcomes.
• Promote and lead safe work practices and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience in civil engineering project delivery.
• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, preferably in Pacific Island environments.
• Ability to travel to project locations across the Pacific Islands as required.
